Columbia, SC — Today, U.S. Senate candidate Brandon Brown is calling on fellow Democratic candidate Annie Andrews to join him in a series of public debates ahead of the primary election.
“South Carolinians deserve the opportunity to hear directly from the candidates seeking to represent them in the United States Senate,” said Brown. “This race is about the future of working families across our state, and voters deserve a clear, honest conversation about where we stand, what we believe, and how we plan to deliver real results.”
Brown emphasized that debates are a critical part of the democratic process, giving voters a chance to compare visions on key issues such as protecting voting rights, lowering costs for working families, strengthening public education, and defending democracy.
I believe in transparency, accountability, and showing up. That means standing on a stage, answering tough questions, and making our case directly to the people. I’m ready to debate anytime, anywhere, in any format that puts South Carolina voters first.

Brown’s campaign is proposing multiple debates across different regions of the state to ensure voters from every corner of South Carolina have access to these conversations.
“This campaign isn’t about insiders or political games—it’s about the people,” Brown added. “Let’s give them the debates they deserve.”
