Today, Jason Belton will officially launch his campaign for South Carolina Secretary of State with a public event in Columbia, inviting community members, supporters, and media to join him as he outlines his vision for the future of the state.
The campaign launch will take place this evening at 6:00 PM at 1325 St. Andrews Road and will feature live music, food, and drinks. The event is open to the public and designed to bring together South Carolinians who are ready to be part of a growing movement for leadership and accountability.
Belton, who is running on a message of strengthening transparency and serving the people of South Carolina, will deliver remarks highlighting his priorities for the office and his commitment to ensuring government works for everyone—not just special interests.
“Today marks the beginning of a movement to put people first and bring accountability back to state government,” said Belton. “I’m running for Secretary of State because South Carolinians deserve leadership that is focused on service, transparency, and results.”
Members of the media are encouraged to attend. The event will provide opportunities for interviews, photography, and coverage of Belton’s official campaign kickoff.
